PLC Power S.r.l. has signed an agreement for the sale of a wind farm project to EDP Renewables Italia Holding S.r.l.

On February the 28th PLC Power S.r.l., a company indirectly wholly owned by PLC SPA, signed a contract for the sale in favour of EDP Renewables Italia Holding S.r.l. of 100% of the share capital of C&C Tre Energy S.r.l. for the execution of the "Casalbore Project", a wind farm with a capacity of 28.8 MW, to be built in the municipalities of Casalbore (AV), Ariano Irpino (AV) and Montecalvo Irpino (AV). This allows PLC group to consolidate its position as key operator in the BOT segment, also addressing its services to international utilities. The total of the project in the wind power sector and which has been subject of quota purchase agreements executed by PLC group exceeds 210 MW, within which PLC has maintained its role as EPC constructor and O&M maintainer.
The closing is expected to be completed within 90 days of the publication of the ranking for the incentive tariff pursuant to the Ministerial Decree of 04/07/2019 ("FER 1 Decree").
The agreement also provides that the subsidiary PLC System S.r.l. will remain in charge of the EPC contract for the realization of the Balance of Plant for the Casalbore Project and the subsidiary PLC Service S.r.l. will remain in charge of the full service contract for the O&M services of the civil and electrical works of the plant.
